Description
The variety pack contains:
(1) Cantillon Fou Foune 2019
Fruit Lambic: Blend of lambics aged 18 to 20 months and of Bergeron apricots. 5% ABV
(1) 3 Fonteinen Hommage 2018
Framboise Lambic: Season 17|18 Blend No. 90
3 Fonteinen Hommage is the result of macerating hand-picked whole sour cherries and raspberries on young lambic for at least four months, in a proportion of 760 to 800 grams of raspberries and 200 to 240 grams of sour cherries per litre of lambic. This fruit lambic is then blended again with more lambic to obtain a minimum intensity of 35% fruit. Hommage is a bodied raspberry lambic beer, with an intense deep red forest fruit bouquet. This unfiltered and unpasteurised lambic is all-natural with no artificial juices, syrups, or sugars added.
(1) Jackie O’s Bourbon Barrel Dark Apparition
Russian Imperial Stout: Signature Russian Imperial Stout, aged in bourbon barrels for one year. Heaven Hill and Buffalo Trace barrels created the bulk of this years blend. With big notes of almond, vanilla, and hints of toasted marshmallow. Year after year, Dark Apparition continues to surprise and inspire us. This batch is a touch sweeter with a bit more body and a comforting warmth. 12.5% ABV
(1) Jackie O’s Bourbon Barrel Vanilla & Coffee Bean Dark Apparition
Russian Imperial Stout: The same blend of barrels (Heaven Hill and Buffalo Trace) as the base BBDA. A small portion was conditioned on vanilla beans for five days and was then blended with Peruvian coffee infused BBDA. This years blend presents very coffee forward on the nose. The vanilla takes center stage on the palate. The blend of the base beer and the adjuncts take this beer to yet another level. The vanilla character makes this blend seem much sweeter and dessert-like. The best bottle of the release, in our humble opinion. 12.5% ABV
(4) Bell’s Hopslam Ale
Starting with six different hop varietals added to the brew kettle & culminating with a massive dry-hop addition of Simcoe hops, Bell’s Hopslam Ale possesses the most complex hopping schedule in the Bell’s repertoire.
Selected specifically because of their aromatic qualities, these Pacific Northwest varieties contribute a pungent blend of grapefruit, stone fruit and floral notes. A generous malt bill and a solid dollop of honey provide just enough body to keep the balance in check, resulting in a remarkably drinkable rendition of the Double India Pale Ale style.
